DMCA & Intellectual Property Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Our Commitment
Briargate Wellness Center respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users and content contributors to do the same. We respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright or trademark infringement that comply with applicable law.
Intellectual Property Complaints
If you believe that any content on this website violates your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, please submit a detailed written notice to us through our contact page.
What Your Notice Must Include
To be considered valid and actionable, your intellectual property complaint must include all of the following:
- Your full name and contact information — including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Proof of ownership or authorization — identification of the copyrighted work, trademark, or other intellectual property you claim has been infringed, along with evidence of your ownership or your authority to act on behalf of the rights holder.
- Exact URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material — the specific location(s) on this website where you believe the infringing material appears. General references to the website as a whole are not sufficient.
- A good-faith statement — a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement of accuracy — a declaration, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights owner or are authorized to act on the rights owner's behalf.
How to Submit a Complaint
Please use our contact page to submit your DMCA or intellectual property complaint. Including all required information listed above will allow us to investigate and respond to your claim as quickly as possible.
Our Response Process
Upon receipt of a valid complaint, we will:
- Promptly investigate the claim and review the allegedly infringing content.
- Where appropriate and required by applicable law, remove or disable access to the material identified in the complaint.
- Notify the content contributor, if applicable, that the material has been removed.
- Respond to the complainant confirming the action taken.
We will investigate all legitimate complaints and take appropriate action promptly. Incomplete notices that do not include the required information may delay our ability to respond.
Counter-Notice
If you believe that material you contributed was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notice through our contact page. Your counter-notice must include your contact information, identification of the removed material and its previous location, a statement made under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable federal courts.
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and other applicable laws, Briargate Wellness Center maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, accounts or contributors who are repeat infringers.
No Legal Advice
Nothing in this policy constitutes legal advice. If you are unsure whether material on this website infringes your rights, we recommend consulting a qualified attorney before submitting a notice.
